Been to the Big House

H.M. was delighted to see us!

A totally amazing experience. Well worth doing. 19 state rooms and special displays. Some great art on display.

After BP went to Westminster Abbey. Still great despite the throngs. Managed some quiet time with Elizabeth I.

Now having a wee rest ahead of going to the last night of Hair.

Love this town!

  2. Did you wear your sweatshirt??? Glad that you have finally achieved this pinnacle of your royal allegiance, especially in the last decade before New Zealand becomes a republic!

  3. I say enjoy Germany my friend. I am having a blast here in the wind and rain with rather severe tooth ache! But hey it's not all about me.
Loving the photos and hoping you are able to maintain the standard as the trip ptogresses.

  5. Really enjoying the virtual tour. So glad you've met up with Liz. Can you ask her to get over to Christchurch for a "keep your pecker up" type mission. Her mother did that sort of thing so well. (e.g "I'm glad we've been bombed at Buck Palace. At last I can look the East End in the face.") John Key will be there for scones next week. Balmoral.
